New CBS Shows
Some of the new series they’ve announced for next season include:
• Moonlight, about a vampire private eye.
• Cane, about a Cuban-American family running a rum business in South Florida, with a pretty heavy-duty cast that includes Jimmy Smits, Hector Elizondo and Rita Moreno.
• Hugh Jackman’s Viva Laughlin, an adaptation of the BBC show Viva Blackpool, about a shady businessman. With musical numbers.
• Swingtown, which takes the 24/Lost approach and will run uninterrupted next spring. It’s about 1970s swingers.
