Colours Are Brighter
Colours Are Brighter, an album full of children's songs arranged by grown-up bands like Snow Patrol, Jonathan Richman, The Flaming Lips, and Franz Ferdinand. All of the profits go to the charity Save the Children. But that's not the only reason to feel good about buying the CD. The music straddles the divide between Raffi and R.E.M. It's silly and sweet enough for the under-five set and sophisticated enough to keep playing through dinner after the kids are tucked in.
