And Our Casa
I saw a pair of these this past Thursday morn as I went out for the paper. I went in for Eric and there we were at 8:30 both in ties standing out on the curb looking up at a tree across the street. Since then we have seen what we thought were the same two birds. We realize now that there are many of them and after investigating and birding we figured out that the birds are...Yellow-crowned Night Herons. Now I realize a pair are nesting in one of the tall trees over our house. I can't wait to see the baby birds.
