Kosher Sushi
Question: Is there such a thing as kosher sushi? Not including shellfish, of course. We want to take an orthodox friend to dinner and my son wanted to make it sushi! My husband and I weren't sure what to tell him.
Answer: Sushi can be kosher, providing the fish is kosher (it must have fins and scales) and providing that the fish was only cut with kosher instruments (such as knives etc.). The best way to find kosher sushi is go to a kosher sushi restaurant, or a kosher supermarket!
