Lambert to be Singing Web-Slinger?
"American Idol contestant Adam Lambert could end up weaving his stage presence into a new role as Spider-Man. The Los Angeles singer is being sought by Broadway for the lead role in new musical Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark, which features music by U2's Bono and The Edge. Casting director Bernie Telsey said they had initially approached Lambert seven months ago".

I would rather suck the bile from my own liver with a straw than watch AMERICAN IDOL, but I did see this guy's ridiculous version of RING OF FIRE on THE SOUP and later on YouTube and if he plays Spider-Man, then this production is even more doomed than it already is.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I will be proved wrong. I love musicals and I love superheroes but I don't really think they're two great tastes that taste great together.
However, if they sign Clay Aiken to play the Green Goblin, I'm in. :)
