The World's First Museum
Over 2500 years ago Princess Ennigaldi, the daughter of King Nabonidus, the last king of the Neo-Babylonian Empire curated a collection of artifacts in a Babylonian palace. They were from many different times and places, and yet they were neatly organized and even labeled. Princess Ennigaldi's collection contained wonders and artifacts of the 6th Century BCE. All as ancient to her as the fall of the Roman Empire is to today's world.
