"This January, Kevin Keller – Archie's first openly gay character – will be joining the grown up cast of the company's "Life With Archie" magazine where he'll be headed down the aisle. The publisher teased the info at a panel at Comic-Con International this past July and now has confirmed via press release that the story will take place in "Life With Archie" #16. While gay marriage has proven a contentious political issue across America the past few years, this is the first time such a ceremony will appear in a mainstream comic from a major publisher."
