History:
Stormwatch is a team dedicated to fighting threats to our future by understanding the past. While many aspects of the Stormwatch organization’s history remain shrouded in secrets, it is known that some version of the team has existed for thousands of years. Under the control of the Shadow Cabinet, each incarnation of Stormwatch has been tasked with protecting the Earth from extraterrestrial threats. To that end, Stormwatch has never been afraid to manipulate the population if need be.
The current Stormwatch team has been busy, as the Earth’s superhuman population has grown drastically in the last few years. In addition to confronting these threats, the team is also on the hunt for powerful artifacts that may be the key to defeating an undetermined threat the Shadow Cabinet predicts will soon rise. The team’s current base of operations is a hijacked Daemonite ship called The Eye of the Storm that operates in Hyperspace, helping to ensure the secretive nature of the team.
