Soldier Saved from Homophobic Attack

Prince Harry Stops Gay Bashing

British soldier James Wharton recently told The Daily Mail that Prince Harry came to his rescue when he was the target of a gay hate attack.
According to Wharton, six soldiers threaten to beat him up during a training exercise in Canada in September of 2008. Luckily, Wharton was able to run away before being attacked. When he encountered the Prince and told him of the incident, his tank commander stepped in.
“Right I’m going to sort this s*** out once and for all,” Harry told Wharton. The Prince confronted the gang and warned them of discipline if they continued to threaten their fellow soldier.

  1. Well, score one for the Royal. Considering the climate, what a refreshing reprieve. Just shows you the difference a few generations can make. - Uptonking from Wonderland Burlesque
